We all know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every where you look there are those pink reminders to get yourself checked and make sure all of your girlfriends and Mamas and sisters do too. Breast cancer is unfortunately prevalent in our society but there are scores of doctors and researchers out there working diligently to find a cure for the disease that plagues so many women.
Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University is proud to be one of those. In fact, Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University is Georgia's first and only cancer center designated by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). For more than 65 years, The Winship Cancer Institute has worked tirelessly to prevent, treat and cure cancer.
