Out of Milk Pro for #Android

I am a list person. I love making lists and marking things off. I like the feel of the pen on that paper and being able to physically see what I have accomplished. The only problem with that is, I am also quite absent minded. I lose things. A lot. So, you can imagine what its like for me, trying to keep track of a million pieces of paper all with my thoughts and scraps of brain matter on them. Not pretty.

A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, when I got my first Android phone, I immediately went looking for a list making app. I tried them all. Long story short, I hated them all and gave up.

Slowly but surely though, my phone became more and more my organizer. It turned into my outside-the-body brain like most peoples smartphones have become. It housed all of my contacts and my email, pictures of my kids and all of my social networks. Everything except those lists.

Then one day, a new list app popped up. Out of Milk. I downloaded it, thinking it would be a miss like all the others. I was immediately struck with how much easier it was to navigate. Now, I'm hooked.

Its not just a shopping app. Yes, I can create a separate list for all of the stores I visit listing the price, size I need and I had a coupon for each item. I can even just scan in the barcode of the item I need more of and it automatically adds it to my list! It automatically adds in the sales tax too. There is also a To-Do list section where I can put all those scattered thoughts and ideas that I can never remember. The best part for me though is the pantry list option. I can add in all of the items I have in my pantry so when I get out, all I have to do is check the app. No more having 5 jars of the same spice because I can't remember if I have it or not. This app keeps my whole kitchen organized and at my finger tips.

Oh, and did I mention, the base app is totally FREE! This app is way above and beyond what I would expect from a free app with no pesky ads.

Recently though, I was messing around on the Android market on my phone and realized that there was now a "Pro" version of Out of Milk available for $4.99. Yes, it told me that in the free app when I went back to look but like I said, absent minded. I was excited to see the Pro features that make this app even more customizable than it was before. One of the huge selling points to me was the added online page where I can go and enter all of my lists and info online and then sync it to my phone. I can also share my list with my husband's phone if he decides to do the shopping. Winning!

I immediately tried to upgrade my membership but I had an issue though where my bank was taking forever to process the charge and it wasn't downloading to my phone. After several attempts, I decided to contact Capigami through their contact form on the Out of Milk website. I am pleased to say that not only did I receive a very quick response from their customer service rep on a Saturday but they were quick to inform me of the issue and go above and beyond to fix my problem! Awesome app AND amazing customer service. Super winning!

I have officially gone paper free on my lists. This app has broken me of my old lady ways. If you are an Android user, this is a must have. If you are an iPhone user, I'm sorry about that (Also, I have heard tell, there is an iPhone version in the works. So sit tight).

Here is the super cool news for all of you though, they gave me TEN free Pro memberships to give away to you guys. So, if you are an Android user (phone or tablet), enter via the Rafflecopter below (It may take just a second to load, be patient.) and I will announce the winners in a couple of weeks!

*I was not initially approached by Capigami to do this review. I offered to do the post after I was so impressed with their app and customer service and they offered up the giveaway to go along with it. Needless to say, my opinions are my own and unswayed by Capigami.
