Cocktails in the Gardens just got a new twist! 

During June, guests at the Atlanta Botanical Garden’s 10th annual Thursday night “social irrigation” party may be admitted for only $10 (regular $18.95 admission) bytaking advantage of a special discount offered only to Twitter followers. They simply follow the Garden on Twitter @AtlBotanical, ReTweet the offer posted @AtlBotanical and then show proof of the RT on their smart phones at Admissions. Details at cocktailsinthegarden.org.

From May - September, guests enjoy specialty cocktails, live music from the city’s hottest deejays, and tantalizing cooking demonstrations by the Garden Chef every Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. Each month, the Garden creates a fun theme by pairing a cocktail with a plant; June’s theme is Hydrangeas and Honeybees.

In addition, cash bars throughout the Garden offer an array of other cocktails as well as beer and wine, and dinner may be purchased at the MetroFresh in the Garden café. As the only opportunity to stroll the Garden at night -- when romantic sunsets and fragrant blossoms cast an alluring spell – Cocktails in the Garden makes for both the perfect date night and a fun outing among friends.
