Farm Rich Meatballs Saved My Super Bowl (with Rafflecopter!)

At this point, we all know the Super Bowl was yesterday. With all the hoopla and the overloaded social networks, how could you miss it, right? Well, I have a confession to make. I didn't know it was Super Bowl day until early in the afternoon and we got invited to join an impromptu party. The catch was I had to bring a snacky appetizer type food.

Immediately my mind started buzzing about having to get out and go to the grocery store and tell my kids that while I know they got dressed to go to the park but now we had to go shopping instead. I was intimidated to say the least. Normally I would put something amazing in the Crock Pot and be prepared when the time came but that just wasn't the case this time.

After a minute, I remembered the Farm Rich Meatballs in my freezer that I have been trying to figure out the best thing to try for my review and I immediately felt a wave of relief. I knew exactly what I could take and it required no trips to the store and no stress. Can I get an amen? On the way out the door later, I grabbed the meatballs, a jar of grape jelly, and a container of barbecue sauce, dropped them into my big stock pot and we hit the road.

Once I got there, I just measured out equal amounts of jelly and barbecue sauce into my pot and set it to simmer on medium heat (stirring occasionally). When all the jelly lumps has dissolved, I dropped in the (now mostly thawed) Farm Rich meatballs and stirred it up, letting the meatballs heat before serving with fancy little toothpicks.

Easy and oh so amazing. I was really impressed with the quality and taste of the meatballs. They were firm and didn't fall apart with my stirring, but they were super juicy and had a great taste like homemade meatballs. Even T liked them and he is the ultimate meatball snob!

Farm Rich was created in 1982 under the Rich Products umbrella as the first appetizer brand in the frozen foods retail market. Shortly after its start, it partnered with Bennigan’s to launch the first commercially successful breaded cheese stick in 1984. Today, Farm Rich supplies many national chains with appetizer products. The company also pioneered the individually quick-frozen process.

All Farm Rich products are made with premium, wholesome ingredients such as 100% real
mozzarella cheese and high-quality meats like all-white-meat chicken. In addition, its snack and
appetizer products have zero grams trans fat per serving, no fillers or artificial flavors, and include no
high-fructose corn syrup. The brand is also committed to reducing sodium and saturated fat in its
products.

Farm Rich is a leading brand of frozen snacks, appetizers and breakfast foods. The company offers a full lineup of wholesome, easy-to-prepare products sold to consumers at retail grocery and club stores nationwide.

Of course there are lots of Farm Rich options out there including cheese sticks, pizza bites, and the new queso cheese bites. I have actually had the marinara stuffed mozzarella sticks and they are so. good. A very convenient finger food that is great for kids and parties.
